ON THE
SPIRITUAL APPARITION FOR THE REAWAKENING OF HOPE, INC

Dear Friends and Benefactors

We submitted the original concept of the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries on the Spiritual Apparition for the ReAwakening of Hope to the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of the Philippines on March I, 2018. The day is significant as this can be explained later in the book on the attainment of Peace and Understanding in an environment of Love and Hope.

There are friends. retirees and  people from various religious faith, beliefs and race including those differently-abled  persons and those whose sex orientation may not be fully accepted in society, may consider this CHURCH MISSION as an opportunity for achieving spiritual fulfillment through participation in the development of lifes' vocation through social work and through science and technology.

We can all be Missionaries for peace and understanding. Beyond our horizon is a wide world, where so many souls can be touched with VESOW ANDSTE.and Hope reawakened.

Dear Friends,

We completed the preparations for the three aspects of the service that are intended to perform tasks for a larger community of diverse groups of people.

In 2013, the Action for Skills Knowledge Education and Wellness Center corp.(ASKEDWELL) was established with SEC CN 201326762 and it has gained the support of retirees and volunteers to achieve its mission and goals. The program that it has focused on is the Application of Science and Technology to Natural Farming and Organic Agriculture Systems.

This program has a copyright and protected by the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of the Philippines during the life time of the author and for fifty years after death. It is also recognized by the Department of Science and Technology and issued a Certificate of Good Standing.and the Securities and Exchange Commission issued a certification of no negative information. This is in addition to  the endorsement of the Department of Agriculture and the Recognition of the Agricultural Training Institute as a Learning Site.

The beneficiaries of the program and activities of the institution ASKEDWELL generally are situated in Bongdo, Borbon. A barangay hit by typhoon Yolanda in 2013. There are 350 households with 750 families learning technologies for survival and inclusive growth. They are implementing the House  in the Garden project.

The Volunteer Training Supervisors, come from Deped Retirees, Agriculture and Active Members of different programs of the Catholic Church, a Hare Krisna monk and former Catholic priests.

In May of 2018, a member of the Maranga Clan based in Nabunturan, Compostela Valley provided a house and land in Montevista with an area of 2,000 square meters along the highway. It is the venue for a small breadfruit nursery which the DOST XI supported to produce 500 seedlings. As there are few breadfruit trees in Compostela Valley and in other places in Mindanao, our trainees and graduates supported the effort to develop seedlings of breadfruit and transport it from Cebu to Montevista via Nasipit.   These breadfruit seedlings will be distributed by DOST XI to its CEST project beneficiaries. It is our goal to develop alternative staple food for the marginalized families and communities. It is also part of the vision that an economic enterprise be set-up to develop breadfruit products for local and export markets.

In our project with DOST VII, through the Science and Technology support to Drought resistant Natural Farming, the community research has come up with the result that African Catfish can grow in a small above ground fish pond with sloping wall and made of ferro-cement. A cheaper alternative to digging a pond and this above ground fish pond uses rain water harvested from the roof of the household of the beneficiary. Water volume is controlled with automatic drainage and pond water is used by animals and plants.

We have cooked and eaten the tasty the African Catfish from the ferro-cement pond. This is the start of the project by the Maranga Clan eatery project in Davao. African Catfish or Hito is prepared and served of sold alive for the customer to either cook it in the eatery or cook at home , fresh. This will be the business component of the inter-related effort to serve the community.

In short we are educating people to utilize waste as an input to the other  and produce products which are healthy and good for human consumption. It is the intent of the Organic Agriculture Act of the Philippines or R.A. 100068

Our latest creation, which completes the three inter-related endeavors was approved by Securities and Exchange Commission, the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries on the Spiritual Apparition for the Reawakening of Hope, Inc. It is a mission for Peace, Understanding, Love  and Hope. It accepts peoples of various race, color, creed, faiths, belief and sex orientation.

The encyclical of Pope John Paul II (research from the internet) on ecumenism, the interfaith   discussions among various religious faiths have encouraged us to think of a Universal God, of Highest consciousness , of the God of Abraham , of Moses, of  God the father, of Lord Jesus Christ, of Allah the most High, of Brahma, Lord Vishnu, Lord Chaitanya, the Buddha, Amay Mambabaya, the God with many names and the God with no name.

Our members, preachers, retain the title of your group or change to title of elder. During general assemblies, religious knowledge of the different sects are matched for understanding, peace and hope for the believers by identifying vocational knowledge/education and social work using science and technology which may meet certain needs of believers. The advocates work together in understanding each others’ principles, thoughts, dogma and search for areas of common understanding   for peace and hope.

The members of the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries work together to provide education, social work and if needed, utilize science and technology with the intent of re-awakening hope within the less served, less in life, and those about to lose hope.

In present day society, there are still people who have less in life but hoping to achieve higher than their present situation –people needing care, understanding and love. In our search for peace, I believe understanding is a major bridge  to love and hope.

Beyond our horizon is a wide world, where so many souls can be touched with VESOW ANDSTE.and Hope reawakened

HEALERS AND HEALING PRACTICES

As the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries is a conglomeration of many faiths and beliefs, there are sects and groups that are members of the UICM . While we advocate Vocation for life for social work and thru science and technology, we have members that focus on distance healing there are also who are effective in using holy oil and blessed water. The members that use pranic, sun energized, colored water are also encouraged to develop the effectiveness of utilizing the healing properties of water as a medium for the transfer of internal healing energy.

Our members come from various religious faith and beliefs and periodically meet to discuss on what are the areas in their respective dogma matches and conceptually come in harmony with other members beliefs.  With this knowledge, two or three members with understanding of a common principle can work together in peace and harmony and identify a community to do its mission- develop vocations through education and through social work shall engage the community in an endeavor for sustainable livelihood. In this case science and technology can be applied including healing.

ON THE USE OF RELIGIOUS OBJECTS

As there are different views on the use religious objects by peoples of different faiths and beliefs and the openness of present day society in the context of understanding and peace, it is our contention, that for a sect that have inculcated the practice of praying to images or the spirit represented in the images large or small is accepted by the Church Missionaries as a way to declare peace and understanding from the spiritual level or point of view. This will lead to love and hope.

Religious objects are made, in the past and until now, from cloth packaging, dried leaves and relics. There are also objects that are called talismans, which are carried by people of various faiths and beliefs and intended for protection and success in endeavors in education, livelihood and relationship.

Our advocacy on this varying faiths, is to accept as part of a faith. We need not to question or downplay the actions and the practices behind the object of faith.

There are those who believe that gold is used as an object to carry the spirit of faith rather than wood. There are those that carry these objects as a necklace or a ring or a bracelet or any combination including a wand, cane or stick that the believer put in the faith into the object. The belief that a spirit dwells upon it and always on hand to help or assist the person carrying it is accepted by the other members. In the same manner that there are people who believe that spirits dwell in the sky, in the mountain, in the rivers and trees. There are also those who believe that their bodies are the objects where the spirit dwells and do not need to use other objects of faith.

In this case varying faiths and beliefs are accepted in the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries. We are also in search for differently-abled persons and persons with varying sex orientation as members of the church mission. Lifestyles and personal hurts and challenges are discussed with the end-in view of developing the experience into a life’s vocation for healing and spiritual growth.,

Healing through change of diet, of environment, of sleeping positions are known to hare krisna monks as an effective way to heal the body, mind and spirit. This is also augmented by the meditation of yoga and the meditation in motion and breathing techniques of Tetada Kalimasada. These are practices that the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries advocate.

It is emphasized in the Universal Interfaith Church Mission that a person retains the religious title as a Brother, a Lay Minister, Pastor,  Kasama, Catholic,      Protestant, a Buddhist, Elder or any religious denomination. What is important, that each one understand each other’s views in the quest for peace and understanding. It is a mission for love and hope.

FINANCING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE UNIVERSAL INTERFAITH CHURCH MISSIONARIES ON THE SPIRITUAL APPARITION FOR THE REAWAKENING OF HOPE , INC.

As the Church Missionaries is a non-stock non-profit entity. It gets its initial resources from donations from believers either individually or from organizations.

The resources include funds for operations and shall be used by full time church missionaries in their daily activities. There shall be no encouragement to transfer or move to other religious faiths. The Universal Interfaith respects the beliefs and faith of all those who join its advocacy.

THE NEED FOR FUND RAISERS

There are offers to assist in the fund generation for the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries on the Spiritual Apparition for the Reawakening of Hope, Inc. There also offers to provide consulting service to ensure a professional management system of the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries.

Fund Raisers shall undergo a learning session with the founder, Dr. Silvano B. Maranga or his designated Elders in charge with the project components.

FIVE RINGS OF SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY

The Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries is conceived based on the principles of Peace and Understanding, its Mission which shall result to Love and Hope. Its principles of service is defined in five areas and called five rings of service. Each ring is defined based on principles and action for them to be developed from concept, spirit to action which shall dwell in the heart of the believer.

1. First Ring - living the words of God in UNDERSTANDING, PEACE, LOVE AND HOPE. This is the foundation of the Church Mission. All missionaries of the Universal Interfaith Church Mission shall strive to study, digest and live the four components of the first ring

2. Second Ring – as this is a Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries, this organization is composed with many religious organizations of various sects and faiths. It is part of the structure of the organization to accept organizations and members to be part of the umbrella and network of inter-organizational assistance. In so doing each small organization becomes a member of and becomes part of a larger system.

This will mean that the members of individual and small churches, congregation, organization of faith healers, meditation groups in both motion and stationary form, researchers on spiritual level and aura phenomena , healing through water, those who live by carving the images of saints and holy representations are construed to be part of this network of faith for as long the person or a group of individuals believe in God, a Universal God that dwells upon goodness and positive energy. Hence the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries on the Spiritual Apparition for the Reawakening of Hope, Inc. is a movement for Peace, Understanding, Love and Hope.

3. Third Ring – along with the concept and philosophy of interfaith understanding to achieve peace and achieve love and hope is the quest for PERFORMING SOCIAL WORK  through Vocational Education or Life’s Vocation  and the application of science and technology. It shall be joint effort to provide education and / or life’s vocation through social work and science and technology. The third ring then defines the material action of the Church Missionaries to keep the body and spirit together.

The Church missionaries especially those that have committed themselves to perform the mission Full Time, dedicates the effort to develop sustainable livelihood through the application of science and technology to natural farming and organic agriculture systems for and among the believers. The Full Time Church Missionaries are deemed  part of the journey as the time, talents and treasure of the individual missionary is done in the service of God and Humanity.

4. Fourth Ring -  assisting a member to develop a sustainable livelihood and through the members’ effort to offer time, talent and treasure to the effort to develop a sustainable livelihood, through prayers can create love for work and hope for the future.

As the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries is organized as an inter domination support of networks,  It is assumed that the Full Time Church Missionaries have developed a system of working through the network of churches and achieve incomes from members through the tithes and support the endeavors of the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries.

When the tithes are low in areas where the members are marginalized, there shall be a system of resource generation activity which includes through local fund generation agencies or groups, or a common activity in the developed economies the crowd funding method.

THE NEED FOR A MEDITATION MOUNTAIN

As the Universal Interfaith Church Missionaries grow in numbers, the quest for spiritual growth shall be of primary importance. The Fifth Ring shall be the ultimate achievement of the believers and the fulfillment of the efforts of the Full Time Church Missionaries. There shall be a MEDITATION MOUNTAIN that shall be set-up as a monument of the struggle for spirituality from the level of the material life.
